Culture and Nature
From the ancient castles to the aristocratic villas, from the holy buildings to the ancient thermal springs, the hills of Prosecco Superiore Docg emanate culture and nature. The appellation concerns 15 districts around the two main centers of this area: Conegliano, cradle of knowledge where the first School of enology is located, and Valdobbiadene, heart of the production of this unique terroir, a never-ending succession of hills embroidered with vineyards. In Vidor, the heart of this vocated area, Bacio della Luna produces its sparkling wines.

The Prosecco Superiore
The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG is the most famous sparkling wine in the world. The grapes are softly pressed to obtain a must which is made clear through refrigeration and gentle filtration. The must is vinified white, avoiding the skin contact and the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature between 16° and 18° C. The sparkling process with the Charmant method is ideal for the production of fruity sparkling wines, because it respects and keep unchanged the peculiarities of the fruit and the terroir. Fresh, moderately full-bodied, the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG is a harmonious and pleasant wine, expressesion of its prestigious land. Every phase of the vinification process is carried out according to the code of production.

Superiore di Cartizze
The Cartizze Bacio della Luna represents the most noble expression of DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene. This cru is originated from the soul of only 107 hectares that benefit from a perfect microclimate and a particularly suitable terroir. In order to produce this special wine, harvest is a little delayed, to guarantee a concentration of aromas which is unique, full of floral and fruity notes. Bright and with straw yellow color, it is a very pleasant wine, that should be served at a temperature of 6°-8° C. It is perfect to celebrate magical moments.

Bacio della Luna is part of the Consorzio Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG that has the task to protect the Prosecco DOCG denomination, promote the development of enological and vinification techniques, guarantee the authenticity of the product to protect the consumer and to stimulate the knowledge of Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, in Italy and all over the world. The Consorzio has also begun an important path designed to preserve the terroir and the sustainability of the environment and the higher quality of Prosecco DOCG (www.prosecco.it).
